All rooms are with private patios offering a breathtakingly beautiful view of the sloping white sands, vast blue ocean and seemingly unending horizon which stretches out beyond.

You could never appreciate the life giving sun until you see it rise in all its majestic glory on the East Coast of Sri Lanka. Wake up at dawn and sit by your wide glass window as you wait for the world to awaken and be washed by the soft gold of the sunrise. Or you could step out on to your patio and relax while you watch the sand, sea and sky emerge from the darkness of night in to the brightness of a new day.

The main restaurant at the Nilaveli Beach Hotel offers the best of both worlds - a delightful mix of Western and Eastern cuisine and a variety of seafood specialities. All you need do is simply relax in a colourful beach wrap and sink your teeth into a luscious lobster, delicious crab or crispy cuttle fish – or try them all – culinary dreams are made of these.

Three bars in the lounge area ensures “Happy Hour” extends through the day and night, providing you with liquid sustenance to lift your spirits.

Staff at our special travel counter would help you arrange boat excursions, diving expeditions and fishing trips. The open air swimming pool allows you choose to swim in the sun any time, with a sliding board adding just the right touch of fun.
