Diva Resort & Spa provides 141 rooms with various styles of accommodation designed to suit all guests and all budgets.

Even the most discerning traveller will be captivated by the picturesque accommodations provided by the Over Water Bungalows and Suites. Connected to the main island by a wooden jetty, these timber rooms are reminiscent of traditional Maldivian houseboats on stilts and are beautifully appointed, providing private decks with direct access into the crystal clear lagoon.

The Island Village houses a selection of thatched Island Village Guest Rooms and Beach Cottages nestled amongst the bright bougainvillea and tropical gardens. Located either directly on, or in the close proximity to the beach, all accommodation is single storey and compliments the local environment.

Dining

With 3 restaurants and weekly special dinner events, Diva Resort & Spa offers a variety of dining options. Guests at the resort can enjoy sumptuous breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets in our Vilu Mathi and Kaana Kotari restaurants, as well as an extensive choice of snacks in our Vilu Bar & Café or Sunset Restaurant and Bar. The a la carte dining experience includes speciality Asian cuisine, International cuisine, fresh ocean seafood and grilled entrees.

Vilu Bar & Café

Open throughout the day, from your morning espresso to your nightcap, the Vilu Bar in the Water Village is a peaceful haven with a convivial atmosphere. The ideal meeting point for pre dinner cocktails during our daily happy hour.

Nagili Bar and Pizza Corner

If you want to be in the thick of the action, the Nagili Bar is the perfect night spot! Enjoy refreshing cocktails in a friendly atmosphere. Guests are tempted by the aroma of fresh oven baked pizza at our Pizza Corner located here.

Beach Club

Open daily, our beach side café will refresh you as you soak up the sun or exert yourself with the comprehensive range of water sports that are available.

Sunset Bar

As its name suggests this is ‘the' place to be as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean . Enjoy cocktails and drinks all day long, as well as aperitifs and liquors when dining in the Sunset Restaurant.

Activities

Whether your holiday dream is to simply relax and soak in the sun on a white sandy beach or to experience an extensive range of activities and excursions, the opportunities at the Diva Resort & Spa will not disappoint you.

Maximizing the surrounding lagoons, Dolphin Water Sports provides equipment and tuition for you to enjoy windsurfing, catamaran sailing, canoeing, water skiing, pedalo boats, fun tubes and banana rides. Diva Resort & Spa is well known for housing one of the most comprehensive water-sports centers in the Maldives ensuring that you will have every opportunity to be at one with the ocean.

Many people come to the Maldives for snorkelling and at Diva Resort & Spa we organize daily snorkelling trips to the house reef, as well as lengthier snorkel safaris. It is not unusual to meet a Whale Shark or a Manta Ray on one of these trips. Of course there are a number of idyllic locations around the island to simply kick off your shoes, relax and do very little.

A myriad of activities and entertainment options are available including local boduberu drumming and dance, live bands, crab racing and beautiful slideshows of the underwater world. Programs change regularly thus ensuring that you do not run out of new things to experience during your stay with us.

Outside Tennis, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, billiard and beach football are some of the activities that are available for the more sporty of our guests. We operate regularly full and half day excursions to the local cultural centre and nearby deserted, resort and local islands. You are also sure to catch a fish or two on one of our night fishing trips or big game fishing. You will so be able to eat your catch at the barbecue afterwards!

Diving

The Maldives has long been regarded as home to some of the most spectacular diving the world has to offer, and the Diva Resort & Spa provides access to many of the best sites in the region.

Operated by renowned Swiss dive specialists, Euro Divers, our PADI 5 star dive centre provides a highly skilled, multi-lingual team of professionals who will ensure your dive experience is of the highest calibre.

If you never dived before there is no better location in which to experience your first dive or even undergo your open water certification. Our dive centre can cater for everybody from snorkelling and first time divers up to the most experienced underwater explorers. Locations will be selected based on the experience of the diver and dive holiday packages can be specifically designed to suit all of your requirements.

Nitrox and rebreather diving are available.
