Coconut shell charcoal dust is the primary raw material used to produce briquettes. Coconut shell charcoal dust is a by-product in the process of manufacturing activated carbon. The raw material is directly taken from activated carbon manufactures.
The process of the production contains mixing the charcoal dust with a starch-based binder, using two high capacity mixers. Currently we use wheat flour for this process. We fed this mixture in to the briquetting machine. It is a heavy-duty high capacity unit which produces pillow shaped briquettes.
All the briquettes which are placed on trays and stacked in trolleys, passed through a dryer to reduce the moisture content up to the acceptable level. Then the dried briquettes are transferred to the packing area. Before loaded to the container we pack the processed briquettes in a quality manner where you can customize your outer cover. And then the final product would be palletised and loaded on to containers.
