Each of Taru Villa’s individually designed rooms and public areas are furnished with carefully selected pieces of object d’art and antiques from Sri Lanka’s rich European colonial heritage. All the rooms have en suite bathrooms with hot water showers and balconies or terraces that look out to lily ponds and frangipani trees in the garden or across towering coconut palms towards the ocean. Amenities such as telephones in the rooms and a room service menu are provided for those who wish to luxuriate undisturbed in their beds and while overhead fans and fresh ocean breezes cool all nine rooms, most offer the option of air-conditioning too. Laundry service is an added bonus for guests.
